In the past, she was an actor in the Netflix show Murderville episode-Who Killed Santa. Coupe also took classes at ImprovOlympic and The Groundlings in improvisational comedy. The one-woman sketch show she performed, The Patriots, premiered in New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre on November 5 in 2005. Coupe was engaged from December 2007 through June 2013 to Randall Whittinghill (acting teacher, puppeteer). She announced her engagement to Darin Oliveren on Instagram on the 27th of November the 27th of November, 2014. They were vacationing in New Zealand when they got married on the 24th of December 2014. In the year 2018 they divorced. Between April 2011 and May 2013, Coupe was a regular on ABC's ensemble comedy series Happy Endings, along with Zachary Knighton (Adam Pally), Damon Wayans Jr., Casey Wilson, and Zachary Knighton. The show was cancelled by ABC on May 3, 2013, in spite of the critical acclaim. It also gained an audience of cult. After the show's cancellation, she appeared in a role that was not her own in the third season of House of Lies and starred with Jay Harrington in the USA Network comedy series Benched which debuted on October 28th, 2014. She was later seen in the ABC thriller Quantico in the role as FBI agent Hannah Wyland.
