Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She also has produced films, including Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Her childhood was lived living in Los Angeles where she came from a middle-class family. Her mom was obsessed with films and instilled a love of films into the young girl. Paula was involved with her school's cocurricular activities and especially captivated by dramatics. She enjoyed acting in stage plays along with her peers. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the setting for many school productions. She made the decision to train as an actor. Through a program for summer in the University of Southern California, she thoroughly enjoyed her time there. She won an assignment for PBS to make documentaries for a period of three months. When she was successful in completing the project, she started working as an assistant in the production of TV documentaries. Later, she was able to produce documentaries. Although she enjoyed her career, she still dreamed of being an actor. Her acting debut came by playing a supporting role in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. In the years since, she has been in numerous film and television programs.
