Zoe Saldana is the child of Asalia Saldana and Aridio Nazario. Her birthplace was in Passaic (New Jersey) on June 19th, 1978. Her father is Dominican as is her mother Puerto Rican. She was raised in Queens, New York. In 2010, she relocated with her family to the Dominican Republic where they spent the next 7 years.
