Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl is an American actress, comedian, TV presenter and best-known for her hosting of The Talk, a popular chat show on daytime. The Talk. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas was raised between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is the product of a very troubled background. She grew up looking after her older sister Frankie. Frankie was a patient of polio. While she was growing older it was not easy to get along with her mom. Sheryl states that in one instance her mother stabbed her father because he was becoming too close to her. Sheryl was a soldier shortly after graduating from her college. Her passion was comedy. She became the very first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. In 1992 she made her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She also appeared in 2000 as host of the television talk show Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started participating as a co-host on The Talk as co-host. She has also appeared in a variety of fictional characters on series like Bulworth Nikki, and Beauty Shop.
